Asia-Pacific Ophthalmic Trauma Society

Dear Friends and Colleagues,

On behalf of the Indonesian Ophthalmologists Association (Perdami), it is a great pleasure and an honor to welcome you to The 8th Asia Pacific Ophthalmic Trauma Society (APOTS) Meeting which will be held on November 8 - 10, 2024 in Bali.

Perdami has committed to support and advance eye health for the past decades. In this ever changing field of medicine, ophthalmic trauma represents a frequent cause of emergency ophthalmic visits and significantly impairs quality of life and reduces working ability. This meeting will focus largely on the management approach of trauma cases, involving many prestigious speakers who have outstanding and major impacts in the field of ophthalmic trauma management.

Continuing education and training in all forms of development is crucial and important, to update their competencies and to provide the service quality and developments that all our members thrive on. Therefore, we support all effort to organize seminars, congresses, courses and trainings that in the end aim to reduce the global threat of vision impairment and avoidable blindness.

The 8th APOTS Meeting will present its own unique experience for both the faculty and participants who attend the meeting. We hope the participants will come and join the meeting, our growing trauma society.

Bali is one of the most popular islands in the world. It is known for forested volcanic mountains, iconic rice paddies, beaches and coral reefs. We are thrilled to welcome all guests, speakers, participants and sponsors.

We are very much looking forward to seeing you in Bali 2024

Sincerelly Yours,
Prof. Budu, PhD, MD, M.MedEd
